Working Week

Hey Guys, as some of you may already know, I started a new job at the beginning of the week, my mood went from excitement to apprehension to nerves, well i guess all of that is to be expected when starting any new job, however this is my first graduate role since I finished uni which made me even more excited!! Anyways, I decided to capture all that I wore during the week, here it is.

Monday - First Day at Work

On Monday I decided to go with a very blue look, blue being my favourite colour it seemed the right thing to do to start my week off right. I loved the light blue shirt, against the blue/white and grey stripped tie, and deep navy blazer. The blazer actually had two silver buttons on the front and some more along the cuff which helped to complete the outfit.

Monday - Thursday

So on Tuesday I decided to go with a darker colour scheme, offering a contrast from Mondays bright and very blue look. I especially loved the rich and dark purple tone of the shirt, against the detailing of  both the lapel of the blazer and the black studs in the tie, which people at work seemed to think was chic! lol

Blazer: Burton

Wednesdays look was more relaxed, with the white shirt offering a bright and corporate finish to the outfit. I also loved the blue/orange detailing of this tie, which really gives the outfit a sense of fun, whilst at the same time being very corporate.

Tie: Marks & Spencer
Blazer: s.Oliver

Thursdays look was probably my favourite of the week, everything I wore was comfortable (which is a big positive) being comfortable in what your wearing allows you to effortlessly emit style. I especially liked the  white/blue and red stripped detailing of the shirt against the mohair textured navy tie.

Tie: C&A
Blazer: Marks & Spencer

Casual Friday

So Friday was dressed down day at the office, I went for this black and grey look, with some blue/green and orange detailing offered by the shirt. This look is quite simple, the dark colours help to draw everything together quite nicely, whilst the different textures and patterns help make the overall aesthetic quite interesting to look at.

 Shirt: Blend The World
Jeans: H&M
Jacket: H&M
Shoes: iPath (I love the wool lining of the shoes, very warm in this freezing weather)

So there you have it, my first working week on my first ever graduate job, I'm still finding my feet in terms of my future career plans, but I am enjoying every second of it! Work hard, stay positive and never stop chasing your dreams.
